Road Safety

Following the recent budget cuts which have resulted in the removal of the school crossing patrol we have been provided with a guidance pack from Newcastle City Council to share with families promoting safety when travelling to and from school. 

 

Included in the pack on this page is:

• an outline lesson plan,

• a map showing crossing points near your school,

• the Green Cross Code information sheet,

• a set of safer crossing place pictures,

• road safety puzzle sheets,

• information for parents and carers.
